Thank you to everyone who supported us! We raised over $50,000! We we're so successful and we owe it to everyone's generosity. Whether you attended the event, donated, volunteered, or performed, you have all made a difference and helped!

We had some amazing performers that day who lightened up the place with their talent! We also had some amazing donors who deserve a huge thank you for their help! Thank you to Sobey's Hollick Kenyon, Original Joes Hollick Kenyon, Pepsi Grande Prairie, Champmans/Ice Cream Depot, Toy Hutch, Culligan, Hot 107, City TV, Global, the Bear Radio, the Brick, Starbucks, and so many more!

Thank you to our volunteers who have helped make this even remotely possible. Especially to the volunteers who stayed all day to help us out and some even stayed to help us clean up after! You all have a huge heart and we appreciate everything you have done.

Thank you to the companies or individuals who donated beautiful items for our silent auction! This is what really made our event so popular. We had so many items we didn't even know what to do!

Seriously, thank you. This could have not ben possible if it wasn't for everyone coming together for one cause. You are all so beautiful!

The Angels for Crystal's facebook page is still up and they have added pictures taken from that day! They are also taking requests if you would like to buy a t-shirt! Just contact angelsforcrystal@hotmail.com and tell them how many and the size you would like! It's only $10!

It's Here

Tomorrow is the day! Come out and support this beautiful girl, Crystal Montgomery, and her battle of osteosarcoma.

We have fun games for the kids, a teddy draw, face painting, nail design, photo booth, beanie toss, bouncy house (if weather permits), and so many other fun activities. And if you're hungry we have lots of food! BBQ, pastries, pop, ice cream, and more!

Everyone can also enjoy a day of entertainment! From yoga, rock music, country singers, hip hop dancers, and much much more. Come support our local talent and feel free to dance along!

And of course we have a silent auction, filled with more items than this blog can hold apparently! Come see the assortment of items we contain which go from low to high end and a wide variety for both men a women. Forgot your Father's Day gift? Not a problem! We have some perfect gifts for your dad! Just remember it is cash or cheque only!

And there is no ATM unfortunately so bring cash, but we are conveniently located by several bank branches!

It's going to be a day full of fun and joy! Please come out and join us and we look forward to seeing you all there!

It's All About the Media

The fundraiser is a few days away and we are so excited! And Crystal is nothing but busy. Listen to Hot 107 on Thursday around 9:30 am to hear Crystal do an interview with their radio host as she talks about her story and we explain more about the fundraiser! Also on Wednesday at around 6pm Global will be airing an interview they did with Crystal for PVR this if you can't catch it. They will also be airing it at 8pm and 11pm so you can always watch it then!

Thank you to everyone who has helped us out in big or small ways, every little bit counts. We hope this event runs smoothly and everyone enjoys themselves!

Updates

The date is coming up soon! This means all week you better keep your eyes on the blog to get updated on what is happening! We will have the official event schedule up by Wednesday so mark the date. We are so excited for the event and can't wait to see everyone who is coming to support not only Crystal and her family but to bring awareness about osteosarcoma and people affected by it as well.

Crazy Weekend

Well it definitely has been a crazy weekend for this girl! She started out Friday morning on Bear Radio explaining her story and talking about the fundraiser. We were all so honoured to have met such an amazing group of people that work there, and let us tell you, they are freaking hilarious. On top of bringing Crystal laughter and allowing her to broadcast her story and the event, they also generously donated $5000 from the BEARS Children's Funds. If any of you got to listen to that, you'd remember how choked up everyone got. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for everything and we loved meeting you all!

Next Crystal got to share her story on Breakfast Television with host Bridget Ryan, who is so funny and bubbly. We all loved her to itty bitty pieces and were so happy to get to share that experience with her.
